About Affiliate Marketing
If you made it to this page, chances are good that you already know what affiliate marketing is. But in case you’re feeling confused by some of the misinformation out there, I’ll clear it up for you. The concept is actually very simple.
Let’s suppose you’re an affiliate marketer, whether you’re doing business online or not. The first thing you do is enter into agreements with one or more vendors who have products or services that they sell. The next thing you do is go forth and recommend these products to potential customers – in other words, you’re a referral. If someone buys products from your affiliated vendors, those vendors honor their end of the agreement and pay you a percentage of the sale price.
And that’s it. No tricks, no scams, and no fads. The practice went on even before the Internet, although some people called it “revenue sharing” back then. Today, there is so much e-commerce, and so much software to track affiliate sales, create sales pages, and send out emails to subscribers, that the process can almost be completely automated. Almost. Although it’s not free to begin in affiliate marketing, it’s one of the least expensive businesses to start.
About Affiliate Swim
Affiliate swim is an affiliate marketing site, but we have no courses. Currently, we’re working actively as an affiliate for 30 Minute Workday, which we discuss below.
If you join 30 Minute Workday under our sponsorship, we will support you as much or as little as you want. (We won’t pay you or invest in your business, sorry!) Ask us anything, and if we don’t know the answer, we’ll do our best to find out.
About 30 Minute Workday
30 Minute Workday is a membership site that is free to join (no credit card required), and that sells subscriptions to the only two software packages an online affiliate marketer truly needs: a funnel builder and an email autoresponder. If you don’t know what these things are, that’s fine: these guys offer plenty of free training and support to get anyone started. More advanced stuff is available for sale, but there’s no annoying upsell.
In short, 30 Minute Marketing does exactly what a swim coach should do. You don’t just take a course and fend for yourself; they help you as you learn to be efficient in the water.
